We will be moving to Montana permanently in May of 2003. With 45 years experience, Steve offers private fly fishing lessons in the state of Maine and Montana. With proper guidance and a bit of luck, you'll catch fish! Without, you may just catch flies.
Well this is Moosehead Lake....what'd ya expect?
My instruction is hands–on. I hold your hand in the proper position when you first pick up the rod. I guide you through the casts so you can learn more quickly. My goal is to teach you the proper technique so you will have a lifetime of enjoyment from this Art. Class size is limited to no more than 6 students. This enables me to give each student a personalized lesson and complete attention. We strongly encourage family groups.
We can supply all items needed. You can bring your own rods, reels, lines, etc. or we can supply them. We can special order items for you but need at least three weeks advanced notice and a 50% non-refundable deposit. If we supply the items, the students are responsible for any breakage or loss. This has never happened, but I need to inform you of all liabilities. For those who would like, we can custom build a rod for you. I have been making my own rods since the age of 12. Children (10 years old and under) are FREE with parents signing up for lessons. Parents MUST BE PRESENT......NO DROP OFFS. We are not a licensed Day Care or a Summer Camp.
